At this stage, Siam Astronomy is mainly waiting for the prize to arrive and for final confirmation of the opening schedule. The activity is currently expected to open on 10 October 2026 and close on 17 October 2026, subject to final confirmation.
Final 24-Hour Announcement
The next major announcement from Siam Astronomy is expected to be published approximately 24 hours before the confirmed opening. It will primarily confirm the final opening date and time, publish the official 20 science questions, provide the final participation links and restate the required hashtags and platform instructions.
How to Participate
- Follow Siam Astronomy. Participants must follow or subscribe to the applicable official Siam Astronomy page, account or channel used to enter the activity.
- Share the official activity post where sharing or reposting is available. The shared post should include the designated activity hashtags.
- Include the confirmation statement: “I follow Siam Astronomy.”
- Answer the 20 official science questions in the comments. Participants must post their answers in the designated comment section under the official participation post, unless a platform-specific instruction states otherwise.
- Follow the platform-specific instructions. The Siam Astronomy website will serve as the central information page and will provide links to the official participation posts on Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. Other official Siam Astronomy channels may also be referenced where appropriate.
Official Activity Hashtags
#SiamAstronomy #SiamAstronomyYouthProject #DinosaurScienceGiveaway
Participants should use the designated hashtags when sharing or reposting the official activity announcement where the platform supports that feature.
Official Science Questions
The activity is planned to include 20 science questions. The official questions will not be published in this press release. They are expected to be announced on 9 October 2026 at 00:00 ICT, approximately 24 hours before the current expected opening date, subject to final confirmation.
The questions are intended to cover science, scientific reasoning, astronomy, dinosaurs, natural history and science communication in a format appropriate to the activity theme.
Participants should submit their answers in the comments under the designated official participation post, following the final platform instructions. No official answer key will be published while the activity remains open.
Answer Key
The official answers to the 20 science questions are planned to be published on the same day as the winner announcement. This is intended to allow participants to review the questions after the activity has closed without making the answers publicly available during the participation period.
Selection of One Recipient
There will be one prize and one selected recipient only across the entire giveaway, regardless of the platform used to participate. The activity is not intended to use a random draw.
Siam Astronomy reserves the sole right to select the winner in accordance with the published activity rules and selection criteria.
The criteria are expected to consider scientific accuracy, correctness of the submitted answers, clarity, relevance, completion of the required participation steps and compliance with the official rules.
Likes, reactions, follower counts and other popularity metrics will not determine the result.
Public Winner Announcement
On the winner announcement date, Siam Astronomy plans to publish a congratulatory post identifying the selected recipient by the username/account name and the public profile image associated with the qualifying public account.
No private contact information, home address, telephone number, email address, private delivery information or other non-public personal information will be included in the public announcement.
Private Steps After the Public Announcement
After the public winner announcement, all further steps will be handled privately. The selected recipient must contact Siam Astronomy through siamastronomy@gmail.com or by private Inbox/direct message to an official Siam Astronomy account.
All verification, personal information, delivery details and shipping communications will take place privately. Participants must not post addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses or other private delivery information publicly.
72-Hour Confirmation
The selected recipient will have 72 hours from the winner announcement to contact Siam Astronomy privately.
If the selected recipient does not make contact within the 72-hour period, the recipient will be considered to have forfeited the prize and Siam Astronomy may proceed to a subsequent selection round under the applicable rules.
Privacy and Delivery
Siam Astronomy will request only information reasonably necessary to verify the qualifying entry and arrange delivery. Where appropriate for a youth participant, additional private confirmation may be requested before dispatch.
Siam Astronomy will provide delivery of the prize to the selected recipient at no charge to the recipient, subject to the final giveaway terms and any stated delivery limitations.
